Olivella Beach

The seaside village of Porticello, in the municipality of Santa Flavia, lives primarily from fishing and tourism, and strolling through its streets offers a sea breeze.
Olivella Beach is located in Porticello, a seaside village in the hamlet of Santa Flavia, accessible via a few steps. It’s right where the nightlife of residents, neighboring townspeople, and tourists takes place, amidst the kiosks, open almost 24 hours a day (in summer), and the many restaurants and trattorias.
Even those who aren’t sea lovers visit Porticello to dine at its restaurants, where, naturally, the freshest fish is served. The seaside hamlet boasts a large number of establishments that offer outdoor seating in the summer.
A distinctive feature is its shipyard, where wooden boats are built.
Cove and beach of Sant’Elia

It’s a charming seaside village of remarkable beauty. As soon as you arrive, you’ll immediately notice the famous house on the sea, the fishermen mending their nets, and their boats ablaze with the colors of the sea. The presence of many kiosks and bars makes Sant’Elia a very popular village. Worth seeing is the wonderful cove with its small beach and its chapel with a cross overlooking the entire coast. Kafara Beach

It’s pebbly, suitable for those who don’t like the side effects of fine sand. Get there early because the beach is very popular and crowded. Some kiosks rent umbrellas, although shade on the beach arrives early, always around 5:30 PM due to the mountain behind it. After that time, many bathers leave, and you can enjoy the entire beach for walks along the seafront. The natural setting is breathtaking, thanks also to the beautiful view of the Gulf of Capo Zafferano.
Aciddara Beach

Between Porticello and Solanto, it can be reached via a private road open to the public. The fine sand, the beautiful blue sea, and the seabed are ideal for spearfishing. Umbrellas and deck chairs are available for rent on this beach. Remains of boats and amphorae from the Phoenician period have been found in this sea.
Seaside village of San Nicolicchio

Best known for the 2008 soap opera Agrodolce, which aired on Rai TRE with over 200 episodes. Swimming is very difficult due to the rocks separating it from the sea, but the view of the village is very picturesque, thanks also to one of the many shipyards where expert craftsmen still build boats today. The village is wonderful both in the summer, with its outdoor restaurants and pubs, and in the winter, for strolling among the buildings and admiring the waves crashing on the rocks.
Tre piscine Beach

In summer, it’s sunny until sunset, unlike other beaches where the sun sets early because they have a mountain behind them. The seabed is rocky and is suitable for spearfishing. There are currently no signs indicating the access to the sea. The path to the beach is not easy if you have a wheelchair to push. This access was created in the 1970s and some steps no longer exist, but it’s worth going there to see and enjoy this corner of paradise.
Lido del carabiniere Beach

Access is via a 200-meter descent and is not suitable for those with small children, and the beach is very small. The Lido del Carabiniere has a free and paid area. Umbrellas are available for rent. The natural setting here is also breathtaking. You can see the lighthouse and the Agnone cave, a natural sea cave accessible only by sea. The visit is not suitable for everyone, as it is difficult to access.
